Toronto: A Little Bit of Everything
My trip to Toronto was filled with great experiences and a little bit of everything. First up was a visit to Niagara Falls, just a short drive from the city. Seeing the falls in person was incredible. I took a boat tour that brought us right up to the falls, and it was an unforgettable experience.
Back in Toronto, I caught a Blue Jays game against the Red Sox at the Rogers Centre. The atmosphere was electric and you could see the CN tower right above us . I’m not a huge baseball fan, but the energy from the crowd was contagious. It was fun to be part of a live game, cheering along with everyone else.
Exploring the city itself was a highlight too. Toronto has so many unique neighborhoods, each with its own character. I wandered through Queen West, checking out the shops and street art, then made my way to the Distillery District to admire the historic buildings. The food scene in Toronto is fantastic—there’s so much variety, and everything felt really authentic. We visited an amazing restaurant called 'Joe Bird' where I had chicken and waffles that were delicious and tried some of Canada's famous poutine.
Overall, Toronto struck a great balance between urban excitement and a welcoming vibe. From the breathtaking sights of Niagara Falls to the lively baseball game and delicious food, I came away with some amazing memories and a strong desire to explore more of the city.
